Membership

The Hampton Band and Orchestra Parents Association membership drive begins at the end of the school year for the following year, but it's never too late to join. Each year we ask parents to participate by becoming a member of the Association. This is a small gesture of support in which all band families should willingly participate. Please remember that you must be a member of the HBOPA to participate in fundraising. The cost per family is $30 and you may join by sending the completed Membership form and dues to Marilyn Adams. Membership dues pay for:

  • Refreshments for our band members and the band members of visiting teams at all home games.
  • The publishing and mailing of Quarter Notes, the band newsletter.
  • Flowers for senior band members and their parents.
  • Support of the band picnic, band banquet, participation letters and awards, web site costs, and other miscellaneous items.
